KETETE PRIMARY SCHOOL, MALUWA, RURAL BLANTYRE

The standard of latrines that Ketete school children use is appalling. They are nothing more than a hole in the ground covered by reeds with a smell that is unbearable. It is a huge health risk, likely to lead to the spread of disease. Many of the older girls do not attend school due to the embarrassment of having to use these facilities. This is Water Work’s most urgent project. The cost to provide the school with six new latrines is £2500. Click DONATE to help the children of Ketete primary School.
